Evans Bank has donated $5,000 to the Nampa Library Foundation in memory of John Evans, who served as Idaho’s governor from 1977 to 1987 and died in 2014. Evans’ grandfather was the founder of D.L. Evans Bank, and its current leaders wanted to honor him while helping with educational programs at the library. Congratulations to the Nampa Public Library, and best wishes to D.L.
